My D3AA lockout ML looks like this. Can I change it to make it even? Make it brighter?

This is just to show what Lowes actually gives us to use for lumber (not beating a dead horse, just showing) yes thats the max it extends, yes it automatically retracts once pressure is released, yes its really that small
