Looking for any info about the marks on this knife. My father had it when it passed, I would imagine it was my grandpa's though.

    i am not expert on these, but i see a broad arrow mark and the ENGLAND stamp

    the broad arrow is the british military acceptance mark, and the ENGLAND stamp is said to have been applied to WWII-era knives, postwar, to be sold as surplus here in the US

    easy to guess it’s a surplused wwii knife
