Leatherman Clean Contact. This tool would be hard to explain to people who weren’t there.

I love it. Sad Leatherman didn’t let us know they’d stop making them

  2. HORSEtheGOAT

I wish they still made them. Hero clips don’t feel that sturdy to me.

Long before this tool, those of us in hospital environments just used: a pen, a foot at the base of a door, a napkin, an elbow, a coworkers finger, and of course lots of sanitizer. People call these types of tools dumb, but they honestly helped changed habits that reduced general spread of germs.

I never grabbed one but sometimes wish I had one still. Amount of folks that shit without washing their hands🤢

Tbf seems like measles is resurfacing thanks to everyone thinking they’re smarter than doctors now, so more antivax people who don’t care about anyone but themselves lol Meanwhile same people still go to doctors or hospitals when something does happen, clogging up all the facilities.

Also not really surprised given how many people don’t even wash their hands after going to the washroom

Oh boy I’ve got one from a Kickstarter somewhere…what a time

I still carry mine. People are still filthy.

Ha! I’m a Leatherman retailer and sold 3 of them in total. But a good idea through and through.

I never wanted one, even during Covid. But now I must have one! Must be an illness!

Damn I’d love one. Wish I was more into edc during that era.

Who wasn’t there? Toddlers? Shits hard to explain to them anyway

  12. Fly_U2_the_sunset

OK, I’m sorry but what the fuck is that thing for?

At first glance, I thought to myself, “They’ve got EDC flossers now.”

  14. SlimDayspring

I…I kinda want to find one and buy it now. It’s looks cool. Doubt I’ll use it. But….i kinda want it.

Edit: went searching for one. Yeah never mind. $100+ ain’t worth it.

In about 10-15 years teens would start posting this on r/whatisit sub saying they found it in their parents junk drawer.

I have one of these on my backpack as bling. That’s about all it’s good for. It sucks as a hook and didn’t really function that well for opening doors and shit.

Theres enough mingers and fecal fingered crackheads in public to warrant more sales today

  18. Revzerksies

I bought a crap load to them to resell and i didn’t sell a single one of them

  19. I still have one on my key ring. I probably don’t use it as much as I should, especially since I’m bothering to still carry it.

Also great for buttons where people use anything other than their hands to touch.

Muthafucka in my apartment uses their shoe to press the elevator buttons.
