Took this one out last night to test it in an open area and I was pretty impressed with how far it was able to throw. (UltraFire E5)

It’s rated at 1350 lumens with a claimed 450m+ beam distance, and while I never fully trust marketing numbers until I see the light in person, this one actually performs well enough to feel credible. The beam has decent intensity, and the zoom function makes it more useful than I expected for switching between wider nearby coverage and a tighter beam for distance.

Build feels solid too. Definitely more “practical user light” than shelf queen, which I actually prefer.

Not saying it’s the most exotic or enthusiast-hyped flashlight out there, but for people who want a rechargeable light with decent reach and a straightforward beam adjustment, this has been a fun one to test.

want to know how people here feel about zoomable lights in general, because I know they can be a divisive category.
