I am looking to use it as a spot light if u will. I have seen comparison of them on YouTube and seems like the sft42f does not have a uniform light pattern when zoomed out. It has an exterior halo ring as shown on the left in the pic(credits to Darrenyeo on yt).
What do u think ? Or better if u have both to compare. Thanks !

Darren is awesome, but I have noticed sometimes the beams look a bit different on his videos vs in real life, especially in that location in your pic. Not sure why.
