Help with info on this cleaver

This cleaver was gifted to me but I'm unaware of this brand! Does anyone have any info about it?

Gemini tells me it's a German brand, potentially vintage, but I'd rather ask you fine folks for specialized info. I see some blue paint on the edge, and from some googling around it might be something called an Oschenkopf?
