Hi everyone, I’m really impressed with this light.

The customized SL-F35R in this model starts slightly negative DUV at lower outputs, then gradually shifts toward positive as brightness increases, ending up very close to neutral (DUV ≈ 0) at max output.

The beam is fairly tight, as expected. When using it to illuminate farther distances, the area around your feet can become noticeably dim. However, the spill is still wide enough that angling it slightly downward while walking works well in practice. The throw is impressive for a light of this size.

With a diffuser, it also works well as a small handheld lantern, and the tail magnet allows for easy hands-free use on walls or other surfaces.

It uses a buck-boost driver, which helps maintain stable output and makes efficient use of the battery.

Charging options are flexible: magnetic charging at home, USB-C via the BL-113C when needed, and it can also run on a standard AA battery.

The body is very slim, making it comfortable to carry in a pocket. The UI is intuitive and straightforward to use, and the very low moonlight mode is also useful.

It’s also simple enough to hand to someone else without worrying about complicated settings. Combined with its solid waterproofing and decent impact resistance, it feels like a practical and reliable everyday light.

Out of all my 1AA lights, this is probably my favorite so far. I can recommend it without hesitation.
