Just got the new Remette RT- Steed today. & the frame lock button seems really loose. Anyone else own this knife & know if it’s normal? Overall amazing knife.
Hmm, that doesn’t look good, but I’m not familiar with that knife. Can u file a warranty claim?

Def not normal. Looks like you’ll have to disassemble the knife and screw the button back down. You can see the screw through the gap. Looks simple enough. Just use a dab of blue loctite when reassembling.
It just popped right off haha damn. I’ll get ahold of the knife shop I purchased from, before I take it apart or anything. Don’t want to void warranty.

As a Remette dealer, almost nothing voids their warranty. Don’t be afraid to take a Remette knife apart.
I’ve seen them send out new knives to guys who snapped blades using their knives as pry bars.

I guess they call it “building good will”.
