hello, so i bought this light for my security job, and it was perfect, solid, bright, good size
but i have some issues, it sucks, 1st, the light slowly dims itself as the batteries die, maybe this is normal? i bought rechargable AA's so preferably one that takes those 2nd i'd prefer the button to be on the butt end, hard to find the side button with gloves or in the dark, 3rd, its also just died on me after a couple months (2 months as if today actually) so it wouldn't be bright without fresh batteries, awkward button placement, and its already busted (when i turn it on, it'll go for a bit but be flickery between brightness and eventually die)
so any recommendations for something similar but actually built to last, preferably nothing too crazy expensive, but y'know decent

Rechargeable, will be a lot brighter, holds the brightness without dropping it, but at High and Turbo modes it will heat up a bit
Convoy T4 could be for you! Can be bought via convoylight.com and accepts two standard AA cells. There’s a lot of emitter options, what kind of beam profile would you like? More range or a wider floodier beam?
