I found my Pop’s old deer knife in a rifle case the other day and I didn’t even know I had it. There’s still some deer debris in the channel. It’s a Schrade Old Timer. The new one that’s not as cool is a Spyderco Endura Damascus. The handle is navy, but it’s hard to tell in the pic.

My first knife as a kid in Boy Scouts was an Old Timer. This brought back memories, may have to buy one just to have it.
The Old Timer is a modded 125OT Mustang (80’s). The 25OT (from ’64) is a double bladed version. It seems Pops ground the handle so he could pinch grip the blade open instead of the nail nick. He may have also liked the extra finger groove when opened. A great knife to hang onto and pass down to another generation. 1095 steel.
