Was gifted this knife by my father, after searching I couldn't really find any style that has no point on it like this. It's full tang, deceptively heavy and decently thick. My only thought is to use it for chopping kindling.

It’s Pakimascus. Generally, these are poor quality knives made of scrap metal.
I would just display it. Any hard use would likely destroy it pretty quickly.
The blade shape is…interesting?
Definitely test it for lead though.
