I ordered the KANSEPT Mini Korvid from amazon, to be clear, it was Used – Mint condition which had a steep discount. The seller was Kansept so I thought I was safe and wouldn't have any issues with counterfeit products etc but I was wrong.
It seems some a**hole bought and returned the knife but replaced it with a dollar knife.
I messaged the seller and amazon and I'm waiting to hear back so ill update with the result if anyone is interested
Has something like this happened to anyone else?

Unfortunately this is the reality of ordering off Amazon.
Looks like an Amazon add. Just go through Amazon. They honor all returns in my experience.
Is the little plastic bag is in sealed?
Return scam, very typical on Amazon. Doubt you’ll be able to do much other than refund, but at least you won’t lose your money.

Just happened to me . Lol . Ordered a 50 dollar knife . Came in with a fake spyderco.
Avoid Amazon for purchases that you need to be guaranteed. Their amazing return policy means packages get put back into rotation without much validation, so fakes or scams are fairly common. Thankfully that same ‘amazing’ return policy means you can ship it back for free.
Had that happen to me with an alternator, right box but not the right part in the box. Annoying but they took it back and sent me another one
Amazon rips you off. Please don’t buy from them.
Check your order details. Are you sure the seller was Kansept? I wouldn’t expect the manufacturer to be listing used knives on the marketplace.
