Any knife throwers?

I've decided to teach myself how to no spin throw a knife, the target is made out of pallet wood. For throwing I have a Gerber fixed blade, swisstech fixed blade and 3 Smith and Wesson throwing knives and 3 Chinese throwing knives. Are there any tips or tricks I should know? Note: I threw these from about 6 ft away
