Based solely on the volume of complaints here, I would have guessed Benchmade, but I guess truly hated brands aren’t discussed as much because nobody in a sub like this buys them.
Strider makes some of the ugliest knives out there. Stolen valor is pretty lame as well.

I don’t like how vague some companies, such as D Rocket Design and Mantis Knives, are when it comes to sharing where their knives are made. Also have seen others throw shade at Darriel Caston of D Rocket Design…poor customer service and just not a nice guy.

Strider knives though fun to own and use….fit and finish is horrible. At this point they almost leave it that way knowing their shitty build quality is part of their brand.

I wouldn’t shit on someone that buys his stuff, solely speaking about the maker+product here.
As far as mick strider? Eh, Strider’s founder has some serious integrity issues in their personal life. But I’ve never had a shit blade from them and started collecting them in the era where the lock stick had been largely taken care of.
Dunno what Strider quality is now, but my couple pieces from 2011~14 have held up to everything.

Strider has its haters, but Duane Dwyer has those same haters but also is worse at business and screws people around for years while holding their money and then does not deliver knives – so that is unquestionably worse.
