Finally picked up this copper scale for my xm-18. Been wanting a brass or copper scale for a while now and found one of the copper ones on ebay. Just installed it. The steel washer i also polished so the bearings are running on just a little smoother surface. I how the natural patina will look good, I think it will but I'll still hope. First thing i noticed was the weight. It does bring the weight of the knife up quite a bit. Other than that thought, fit perfectly and blade is perfectly centered and no problems with the install.
