I’ve been carrying a Skeletool CX for years, and all I was missing was measuring stock thickness whenever I go to my metal supplier’s offcuts section (is this 3/8ths or 5/16ths?)
I looked into modding, but I can’t resist Open Source, so here we are.
I was expecting to be disappointed because Skeletool is an amazingly ergonomic, one handed tool. And I have to say, I’m pleasantly surprised. The Skeletool is still a more ergonomic one-handed knife, but with the D3 right-handed blade, the Roxon is super comfortable to open and only slightly more awkward to close.
The plier springs are amazing. I can’t figure out how they work or even where they are. I might disassemble the whole thing later to see.
