Wasnt paying enough attention in the parking garage and had a run in with a post. Less than 5 mph but the damage seems pretty significant. Was able to drive home at 15 mph and at the very least the alignment is out of whack. Already assuming this is a total loss, what are my chances? 2026 maverick xlt hybrid.

Total loss for a 25k rated truck seems excessive. A new fender and respray should do you good.
Gonna guess 8k, but far from totalled.
You’re gonna have to pay your deductible and your rates are gonna go up but you should be fine
Did any of the hybrid components under the hood get damaged? If not I dont think its a total loss
How did you manage to run into a pole like that?
I’m not criticizeing, I scraped my rear bumper and busted a tail light in the first three weeks because I’ve always had small, old cars.
most likley, looks like you cracked the a pillar and bent the subframe, big money to fix, most insurers classify that as total loss
There was one time when my best friend and next door neighbor flipped his sisters firebird in a cornfield scattering parts and tires for hundreds of feet.
we told our parents 50mph and he swerved for a deer.
When our dads pulled up the sheriffs deputy had to protect us. Pops was screaming “50mph my ass!!! Deer my fuckin ass!!!!”
5mph my ass!
Nothing $15k won’t fix…
Welcome to r/Fordmavwrecktruck! We meet every Thursday night to cry. 🙁
I would not report it to your insurance. Just fix it out of pocket.
Brother, me too. Was 6k Canadian for this.
I had someone back into me in a parking lot and push in my front grill and that was 5k Canadian because the AC got squished

If the insides fine just fix it out of pocket!
I think you’ll be alright, but 8-10 sounds about right. I had the bumper and front headlight replaced for about 5 following my own stupidity. That stuff up near the pillar should just be crumple in the fender and nothing really underneath.
