2000 XLT 4.0 5spd 4×4. Bought this about 2 weeks ago and have been daily driving it for the most part. All rust is surface rust. How bad does the suspension look. Steering isn’t loose, slight pull on freeway but it has 31’ all terrain tires on it. It occasionally will vibrate at higher speeds for a few seconds then stop, and maybe also while braking. Just replaced front rotors and pads. Is it safe to drive on this until I can replace them myself. How much driving can I do on them now

Suspension joints can’t be checked visually, they need to be checked physically. Get a pry bar and start checking.
Ball joints look like they are tired, might be time to redo front end when possible. Will require an alignment after. Upper control arms are easy, lower control arms are less so, good torsion bars wouldn’t hurt either. Honestly no one will be able to really tell you anything beyond the surface because we can’t physically check anything out, but everything you read on the internet is true so
