Demand for the new Ram 1500 Rumble Bee shows there is a strong market for the high-performance pickup, with the 2027 model sold out through the first quarter of next year.

The details: Demand for the 395-horsepower Ram pickup was driven by enthusiasts who purchased the 2026 calendar-year allocation of the 2027 1500 Rumble Bee as soon as order banks opened, according to Stellantis.

The 395-horsepower Ram pickup sold out in just 90 minutes, with all available allocation through March 2027 filled within 24 hours.

To meet demand from enthusiasts in a timely manner, sold customer orders within the allocation are receiving priority status.

“The speed at which the Rumble Bee sold out speaks volumes about the passion our customers have for performance trucks,” said Matt VanDyke, CEO of Ram, per a press statement. “By pairing legendary HEMI V8 power with Ram capability and a distinctive design, we’ve delivered a truck that captures the spirit of modern American muscle.”

Why it matters: The rapid sellout gives Ram dealers an early indication of strong demand for performance-oriented pickups, creating momentum around the Rumble Bee while giving retailers another way to draw buyers to the brand.

Between the lines: Demand for the 1500 Rumble Bee—touted as the entry to Ram’s new muscle lineup—could provide a strong indication of how other models in the lineup will perform and potentially help boost Ram’s sales overall.

The Rumble Bee 392 and Rumble Bee 392 Track Pack mark the first application of the 392-cu.-in. (6.4-liter) HEMI V-8 on the Ram 1500 platform, delivering 470 hp at 6,000 rpm and 455 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,200 rpm.

The Ram 1500 Rumble Bee SRT ups the ante even more, delivering 777 horsepower at 6,500 rpm and 680 lb.-ft. of torque at 4,800 rpm.

What they’re saying: “Today, Ram has a truck for every customer — from the work ready Tradesman to full-blown luxury in Tungsten,” said Tim Kuniskis, head of American Brands, SRT Performance and North America Marketing at Stellantis, per a March press statement. “That kind of range makes it hard to predict the second vehicle for a customer. But, for muscle car owners’ data proves it’s a pickup and the connection has been staring us in the face since the era reignited almost two decades ago.”

Bottom line: The Rumble Bee’s rapid sellout provides an early signal of demand for Ram’s broader performance-truck strategy, potentially giving dealers another avenue to attract enthusiast buyers, generate excitement around the brand, and build sales momentum as more muscle-focused models arrive.
