When the truck is off and I have the clutch in it shifts perfect. If I start it and keep the clutch in it’s perfect. As soon as I take my foot of the clutch and put it back on the gears won’t engage

It’s it a hydraulic clutch? If so, The master cylinder is probably leaking down. You could pump up the clutch pedal a few times and see if that makes a difference. If it’s a cable clutch then it just needs adjusted, it’s not fully disengaging when you put your foot down.
