Great ergonomics and perfect size and cutting geometry. While I love this knife, it is obvious that my Sage 5 has much better fit and finish. I've heard it repeatedly that Taiwan has the better fit and finish and this is a glaring example. Spyderco knife prices keep rising, the least they can do is put out a product with better fit and finish and better QC from their USA made knives. Not only was the jimping filthy and has some machining materials still stuck in it, but the jimping on the lock bar is diagonal and looks terrible mated up to the jimping on the blade that is straight. In addition to that the grind angle is different on either side of the blade making the apex uneven/not centered. I got this as a tool/workhorse and these things won't really affect its use, but it's still disappointing. Wondering if I should contact spyderco about it.
