I recently got my first Convoy flashlight.
I already own some Wuben,Sofirn,wurkkos flashlights and thought I would order my first Convoy.
I really like a good flood light. I have no use for a throw beam. So I went onto the convoy website and tried to do some research Into which light would suit me best.
I ended up ordering:
LED type: 519A
Color temperature: 4000K
Driver type: constant current driver
Battery: EVE INR21700-58E 5700mAh (+£ 3.57)
Customization: Replace the reflector with 60 degree bead TIR
My flashlight arrived and the beam is awesome. No hot spot just rich warm flood light.
HOWEVER here is the issue.
I can't have the flashlight on for more than 3 minutes.
The flashlight gets so hot that it feels dangerous.
There is no way I could go on an hour long dog walk with the flashlight on.
So my question is, where did I go wrong with my set up?
Why does my flashlight feel like a lightsaber after 3 mins?

Use it on a lower setting
Once you turn it on, press and hold the button down. It will cycle up through the settings. Do the same to lower. Go to the s21e page and scroll down. There are instructions.
