The power went out for the second time today in my neighbourhood. The “massive taser-looking thing” that friends and family were questioning last week almost immediately proved its worth. 😂
I’m currently in eco mode, and it actually provides a very usable amount of light, ranging from 10 to 20 lumens. My Arkpro Ultra and Reylights emit much lower light levels, but this light source is more practical during prolonged power outages. In contrast, I use the others on regular nights for indoor navigation and other tasks.
Experimenting with the higher modes is also quite impressive, especially when the entire neighborhood is dark. However, I find the low mode to be a suitable option when I need a bit more light than the eco mode.
It’s great that it’s been able to be used for my intended purposes so quickly. I must admit, it was just sitting on my desk after the initial honeymoon waiting for a moment like this.
