It’s a chef paring knife, I guess you could use for EDC but it won’t come with a sheath.
The fact that you think this is cheap is shocking! Just because it’s Microtech? You can get the same pairing knife for $25 without the stupid logo fyi
Paring knives are common edc knives. Ed calderon made it popular but he learned it from his mother. A usual paring knife like the victorinox is about $10 so this one is pricey.

Comes with a little kitchen sleeve. Not recommended for EDC unless you get some kind of aftermarket sheath. I enjoy it as a kitchen knife. Not doing anything special or revolutionary. Just a decent knife.
