I have 3 or 4 batteries like this and I still use them. Not sure if it’s safe though lol. All came out of my d4k. If you have a 3d printer there’s something you can print that sits on the board so it doesn’t damage the cells

I think the circuit is ON forever.I don’t recommend use that battery

It may only be cosmetic damage, but it’s safer to just buy a new one as we don’t know if there is any damage inside.

To my knowledge this is safe as in you can keep it for now but should look for a replacement at the next point where it is convenient to you.
