I picked up some auction items the other day and with it came a few misc kitchen knives. A few of them are Schnucks (grocery store) brand knives. Im trying to find any info on the web that tells me if they're worth adding to our small collection of kitchen knives or just toss them.
Im not sure if they're just generic knives that have the name lasered on them or if somehow they were actually good and maybe used by schnucks workers to prep deli/butcher food?

I asked an AI about them. It said
“Schnucks is the former private-label (store brand) of Schnucks Markets”
The ai compared them to Cuisinart. Not cheap junk. But nothing special either.
That being said, I don’t know how much I trust anything from ai. But I did find some Schnucks stores near St Louis Missouri.
