So i edc lots of gear each day and have decided i want to personalize my edc gear a little more. i have been looking into lanyards and have a few on pieces of gear i already own. i have a few lanyards that fold into themselves like the swiss army knife shown. however on something like my new gaurdian tactical otf i cant fit a piece of paracord folded onto itself trough that hole. my issue is i can put one piece trough and snake knot all the way up but when i want to take apart my knife for maintenance it makes it a pain. same goes for my spyderco i wouldn’t be able to fully separate the knife without taking apart the lanyard. i need help with a solution ive got a few beads from blade show and some paracord in a few different colors. i’d like to get to work on the lanyards but i cant figure a solution to my problem. any advice or help will be very welcome i know basically nothing about knots or even tying paracord.
