This mod was inspired by u/QReciprocity42 and his post about SST-20 4000K https://budgetlightforum.com/t/luminus-4000k-phosphor-upgrade/229650
I decided to use the emitters from Convoy. They turned to be noticeably greener when directly compared with neutrally looking, ~2 years old Skilhunt E2A with SST-20 4000K. Luckily, I prefer green over ~any amount of rosy.
In the absence of “competition”, the light is great and very comforting even in the middle of the night (ceiling-bounced).
The beam is slightly more throwy thanks to the smaller size of SST-20 versus 519a (see the desaturated picture).
