Me and this knife, we've been through a lot. Including that winter when I dropped it in the driveway and it spent months frozen in ice until I found it in the spring.
Anyways, the matting surface between the lock and the blade is worn and the lock up ain't what it used to be. It's a D2 blade. Can I just peen it over again, like they did at the factory? File to fit? Maybe it's a lost cause for a cheap knife.
Thoughts?

It’s an Emerson, right? I think you can send it back to the factory.
