Here are my thoughts on these after using each of them for a little while in some way or another:

VTiger C1 Lumicube

  • Like: rotating head allows beam to be pointed in the most useful direction, feels smaller in-hand than the others
  • Don't like: very cool and slightly blueish tint, beam is less floody than I'd like for a clip light, no moonlight (but the red is very dim), opening the clip might lead to pressing against the lens section

Loopgear Loopdot

  • Like: wheel to finely tune the brightness including to very low levels, nice warm tint on the flood, pixel features are cool (but largely not practical except for very specific scenarios)
  • Don't like: case is required both for clippability and magnet, can only point perpendicular to whatever it's clipped/magneted to

Wurkkos HD03

  • Like: no specific features in particular, but I do like the HD03 overall for having around and for gifting
  • Don't like: choosing a colour for RGB is very picky, spot mode is still rather floody, can only point perpendicular to whatever it's clipped/magneted to, button has become very mushy on my other HD03

Scoutlite SparkO

  • Like: three cool/warm tints to choose from (and red), magnetic clip is good for thinnish clothing, very floody
  • Don't like: UI is a bit unintuitive, does not clip as strongly as the others to thicker fabrics, can only point perpendicular to whatever it's clipped/magneted to

Beam shot is spot mode for the middle two. I didn't set them all to max brightness but rather tried to get them all at similar brightness to compare beam profile. I've also included a gif showing their red flashy modes, since for me at least a big use of clip lights is for being visible on/near roads.

What clip lights do you recommend? I'm particularly fond of the rotating head of my C1, so would be interested in other clip lights that have this but are better than the C1 overall. I've not gotten a Wuben G5 because of durability concerns.
