I work with motorcycles and I have to read the VINs all day. If you know anything about motorcycles, they put the VINs on the front forks and most of the time are hard to read. One day I was completely over using my phone. Not sure why, but it always shuts off on me and is a pain to use while trying to read something and write it at the same time.
I saw the Matco guy walking through the shop and I said “Hey over priced man, I need a flash light with a belt pouch. He said I got you. And ever since, it has never left my belt.
I have always loved flashlights, and you all have some pretty awesome ones. But my favorite are the old D and C cell lights. Also the pocket mag lights. I have about 80 of them that I find at garage sales and thrift stores. I hide them in the shed so my wife doesn’t see them.
