One of my knives rusted heavily I was able to get rid of most of it but I’m left with these marks any recommendations on what I can to to get rid of them
This is a natural patina that forms on A2 steel.
Albeit with the rust marks.
I’ve found the only way to get rid of it is to lightly sand it off with a high grit wet-and-dry sandpaper.
The darkening will return again from use as it oxidises and come in contact with natural oils and acids of whatever you cut. Natural patina is generally seen as a good thing. When done properly it creates a coating that helps protect from harmful rust.
Note: you may lose your branding etching if you sand the blade.
