Hi, this is an encouragement to those of you who think soldering is difficult. It went completely smoothly with decent equipment. I recently bought a GEEBOON 220W TC22 soldering station and various tools, solely with the intention of swapping MCPCBs with LEDs in my Convoy flashlights.
With focus, care, and patience, this went really well and worked perfectly. I have never soldered before (well, twice about 20 years ago in high school), and this was the result. Good enough, I think!
