Im hoping someone can help me. I really would love to order a second s7 shorty but install a lighted switch. Im not a natural or experienced modder but I'm willing to try and turn my hand to anything. Ive read some information about some colours being unreliable, some people talk of these switches frying boards, and multiple parts needing to be ordered. Ive read some instruction on this sub but I cant quite make sense of them. I remember when I installed this metal button, I needed to order a second part from Simon but I cant remember what or why.
Can anyone help me out? I just need to know if its possible, if it will be reliable once done, what to order, how to do it and as a bonus, if its possible to build it in such a way that it can tail stand. Many thanks in advance!

orange and red ones are the ones not functioning properly they got a wrong resistor or something. resulting in the flashlight flashing as if low voltage protection kicking in when battery is at 4,2V(fully charged) apperently it works if you remove one of the 2 LEDs (haven’t tried it) i would just stay away from the red and orange ones. the second part you needed to order when upgrading to a metal button is the translucent plastic piece between the button and the frame. its included in the light switch kits
