I’d worry that the flared end cap would make it more obtrusive in a pocket.
Probably going to get eviscerated for this but fuck it, for me over-engineered pens (typified by bolt-actions, stabby/glass breaking sales patter, aircraft grade materials, language like “deployment” “tactical”) stray too far into marketing towards grown-up-mall-ninja-who-now-pretends-they’re-an-operator territory. The utilitarian use case isn’t there for me, Fisher Space Pen all the way.
