JLHawaii D4K “Mega Mule” with 17 FFL351A 1800K emitters. She’s beautiful 🥹 very happy to be one of the first three made. I owe Jackson a very big thank you for taking the time to reflow all 24 of the aux emitters to get this out to me, they look amazing and I really like the new style.
The mule lights in pic 4, from left to right are:
-
AshLights Convoy S21A triple B35AM 5000K
-
AshLights Convoy S21G GT-FC40 4000K
-
JLHawaii Emisar D4K 17x FFL351A 1800K
-
JLHawaii Emisar D4K FFL909A 4000K
-
Firefly NOV-Mu V2S 21x E21A 3500K mix
Despite having 4 fewer emitters, you can see that the “Mega Mule” has more than twice as much emitter surface area (208mm^2) than the NOV-Mu V2S (93mm^2).
Spectrophotometer results on pic 7. The light reads about 1970K, which is slightly higher CCT than rated, but it scores very respectable CRI numbers:
– Ra: 93
– R9: 91
– Duv: -0.0012
