Now I live by the coast and by that I mean I’m a 5 minute walk from the beach and 10 from a harbour so as is quite common in my area fishing is a big part of everyone’s lives and for me it’s for the food bill my family eat a lot so I fish to help out with the bills

I’ve owned this knife for a year now and gone fishing at least once a week since I picked up this knife and it’s seen a ton of use and abuse from filleting an prepping bait to gutting and filleting dinner

It’s probably not seen the best care it could have it’s a work tool sometimes it’s gets forgotten about in the tackle box or the rucksack and it might spend 5 days covered in saltwater before it gets washed

Is has even survived the blade being dashed against concrete took 15 the sharpen back to a shaving edge like when I got it from the factory

So if you’re looking for a EDC knife to take fishing and for preparing fish dinners I cannot recommend enough and I own 3 other helle knives they are all amazing and the company’s commitment to environmental protection is even more reason to support them
