

Decided to use my spectrometer to measure the sun on my planet and it's pretty good for a free light source!
At 1pm, it measured 5700k, 99.3 Ra with 0.0014 DUV. As you would expect R1 through R15 are high across the board.
Almost as good as a maglite, although a little bit greener tint than I had hoped for.
I don't know if the the delta from BBL is based on inaccuracy of my meter or scattering off the atmosphere, clouds, whatever, but thought I would share because people often talk about how such and such compares to natural sunlight. This is just one data point, etc.
