The most frustrating part of this whole challenge is the waiting to carry a new knife. The random wheel chose my S30v Spyderco Native 5 for last week. Awesome. I love that knife. It gets carried regularly. I've had it for years. It isn't one that I was on the fence about. It isn't one that rides the bench. I didn't gain any new appreciation for it since the Native 5 is already my favorite knife. So it was kind of a bummer to get stuck having to carry it when I could have been carrying my new M4 variant for more than just one day on freebie Saturday. Or one of my newer 15v versions. Or I could have been enjoying my new Spyderco Manix 2. I may need to edit some of my rules. Anyhow, the wheel landed on the Benchmade Taggedout in Elmax for next week's carry. Which is good. I like the knife and don't carry it often enough. At least that is more of what I am trying to accomplish with this one knife a week challenge.
