Now I clearly need a TS27, but have a couple questions. First, should I pay $10 more for the “local warehouse” or could I save by having it ship more slowly from (I assume) China? Basically wondering if there’s some import tax I need to keep in mind??
Also, the option of the 1/4” tail cap. What exactly does that entail? Like, is that opposed to just regular tail cap, or maybe a magnetic tail cap?
Any input greatly appreciated! I now need a flashlight with a gigantic battery apparently, so thank you all.

The 1/4″ threaded tailcap (tripod mount) is a recent update to the TS27. Wurkkos added the tripod mount to the newer ones, but the first gen didn’t have it.
I always buy directly from Wurkkos and have had no problem so far and they are quick to ship.
