For me, the Spyderco Native 5 is my absolute #1 It's one that I have multiple variations of. I rotate my knife weekly, but there's something about the Native 5 that just checks all the boxes for an average edc knife. It gets a lot of hate because of the lock back, or it's "not fidgety" Which I can understand, and I don't fault anyone for wanting that. But personally, I absolutely don't care about fidget factor. It's very easy to manipulate with one hand, even with gloves on, has a rock solid lock up, a versatile blade shape that does a lot of things extremely well, and with some AWT scales, it has the most comfortable and natural grip I've found. A couple of times, I've wanted a little longer blade, but 99% of the time, it works out just fine. I know it's not for everyone, but it definitely is for me. What's your top choice for the average EDC knife? Which knife do you recommend over and over when people ask "What's a good knife for edc?"
