I feel like this one doesn’t get as much love as some other CKFs. It has a few unique features though that are pretty cool.
The timascus pocket clip is inset into the scale. The 2 scales have no backspacer or standoffs, they’re just machined to meet together perfectly. The thumb studs are set into a notch in the blade. It also has the smallest flipper tab on the back that I’m not sure is meant to be a flipper tab, or is just a function of the shape of the blade, but it functionally works as one. It also has an inset liner lock that sits in the lock side scale.
To top it off it has action that competes with any of the best and is probably the most drop shut knife I own.
Overall just impressive engineering to get all of those unique features into one knife and still have it work amazingly well.
