I have built a hot rod a21g with lhp73b but when I got to my led I noticed a little dab of pcb coating on die surface of led. It was clear so I thought that it will be fine.
its not fine. I have probably 5 total minutes of runtime on it and I I can see led degrading already. im scared that it will just burn itself now due to the heat it produces

Could be a drop of flux got on the emitter.
Happened to my b35am.. not burnt as bad as yours
Its been a year and still works.
Just order a new LED. It costs a penny.
But this time after soldering, don’t forget to wipe it with Isopropyl alcohol before assembly.
This spot appears to be burnt flux residue. When the phosphor burns it usually turns blue.
Just scratch it with something metalic. You won’t be able to remove it with alcohols.
