Turns out forprene, the handle material, is quite difficult to dye. other than that, I two-tone acid washed the blade and turned the false edge into a real edge. The wrap is regular old hockey tape

I always thought the grips on those looked slick, that hockey tape job looks great, and the false edge now being sharpened is a sweet upgrade too
