w5050sq5 6500k (Convoy T6) – 14500/AA Flashlight

Not much info out there on this new emitter. The T6 seems like an optimal pairing for it due to less of a lumen increase when you add more power (only 5amp driver compared to the more common 8amp drivers), and in exchange it stays very cool. The whole range of light is very usable, I would recommend the 100 – 35 – 10 – 1% power config. 35% gives about 150m of throw with great detail, and as seen in my photos 100% is usable to at least 200m (how far away the trees are in my beam shot)

I’m a fan of the T6 beam and how it fades into the spill. It throws quite far for how underpowered and wide its hotspot is.

This 6500k version seems to be mostly pure white. To my untrained eye, I can’t really see any Greens/Blues/Pinks/Yellows.
