I walked around a lot today and was pleasantly surprised when I initially saw no rust on my Iridium in D2 steel.
I guess the KPl Knife Shield could only hold on so long…
I grabbed the knife again to check and saw all the rust spots that formed.
Cleaning:
WD-4O wasn't enough.
I moved over to baking soda and water, which did the job.

I like this blade protectant called Hoplon, I’ve never had any rust or anything like that, after using it.
I’m glad u got it nice and clean now!
This is the main reason I generally avoid D2. My sweat seems to be extra corrosive or something.
