These are pretty much the top 5 EDCs I go to work with. They're all great, but the FM-1 doesn't seem to get much love here.

The FM-1/Full Metal Atlas is the thinnest, slightly thinner than the Demko Stealth Cub.

It has titanium scales, only the AD20.5 does also.

It's lighter than all of them except the Cub, (actually that PM3 has some heavy scales), but still, it's light.

It's S35VN, which I don't think is bad, a lot of people do though, so depending on your preference, some of the others may have a better blade.

And… the main reason… is the Atlas Lock. I love it on this knife, not on the Mayhem though. Yes, it is better than the Shark Lock on the 20.5 and Cub. I have an older AD20 that is broken in well and is wonderful, but I'd still take this Atlas over it.

They need to start making more knives with the Atlas (and I don't mean on some 3 foot machete folder). Just a few more sensible knives like the FM-1.

Also, I saw on Amazon today that they now have a Clip Point version of the FM-1 for sale. Too bad I'm broke until next month.
