Probably an early tactical ring, used as an anti-slip.
I guess that ring towards the center was so that it would slot into the ring holster on a belt and stay in place? That’s a neat find.
Relatively rare find!! The 7c’s and 7d’s are pretty neat. 6d is still in production, both Incan and LED. prob worth some $$
