Are you supposed to oil the button lock and/or the safety slide on knives? Or do these usually stay unlubricated?

   I’d probably just oil the pivot and call it a day for something like this. As long as the locking systems are clean, they’ll be fine.

   If I’ve got it apart then I lubricate every moving contact part, very lightly though.
