Thinking of swapping my fastback out for a skeletool for my work edc. I find myself walking to the truck too often for a pair of pliers when a multitool would be perfect. I like the size and weight of the skeletool. I would like to add an SAK or something similar to compliment the skeletool and even this milwaukee. It would need to include scissors, an awl, and at least a small file. I also get a lot of use of of the tweezers and small pin in my compact that I carry outside work, I would like for it to house those as well. I’ve seen some scissor and tweezer mods for the skeletool as well. I’m also considering the signal but I really like the simplicity of the skeletool as a main tool. 90% of my usage between the two tools would be the skeletool. Any and all recommendations and opinions are appreciated. Should I just stick with the compact? Am I dumb not to get the signal? Are there other options entirely I should be looking at? If you were in my situation, what tool would you pick and why?
